The 2026 Kuwait Oil & Gas Show Awards will celebrate the exceptional achievements of individuals and organizations across the Energy, Oil, and Gas sectors, in alignment with the Conference theme: “Shaping Tomorrow’s Energy.” Each award category, as outlined below, will recognize one distinguished Winner.
Academic Award
This award recognizes students and faculty members from colleges, universities, or other postsecondary education institutes for the successful completion of research, studies and contributions to oil and gas industry. The award highlights academic and applied work that demonstrates scientific industry relevance, and potential for real-world impact across the upstream value chain.Sustainability & Energy Transition Award
This award celebrates organizations, teams, or individuals leading impactful initiatives that contribute to a more sustainable and low-carbon future for the energy sector. It honors innovation and excellence in integrating decarbonization strategies, renewable energy, and advanced environmental technologies across the hydrocarbon value chain.AI & Digital Transformation Award
This award honors exceptional achievements in the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), advanced analytics, and digital transformation technologies in Oil & Gas industry. It celebrates pioneering solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, optimize performance, and accelerate the digital evolution across the energy value chain.Regional Project Excellence Award
This award acknowledges and celebrates exceptional performance in the planning, execution, and delivery of a major oil and gas project in the Arabian Gulf Region. It honors project teams that have demonstrated technical excellence, operational efficiency, stakeholder alignment, and environmental stewardship in successfully bringing large-scale energy infrastructure to fruition.Diversity Equity & Inclusion Award
This award recognizes an individual, team, or organization within the oil and gas industry that has demonstrated outstanding commitment to fostering diversity, promoting equity, creating an inclusive environment in the workplace or community, and empower underrepresented groups across the energy sector.Young Professional Award
This award celebrates emerging leaders of under the age of 35 who have demonstrated exceptional talent, innovation, technical excellence, or leadership in the energy industry. It fucuses on individuals who are shaping the future of the sector through impactful contributions to projects, technology, sustainability, or organizational culture.
Submissions will include supporting evidence (max. 2,000 words / 5 pages per submission, including figures and illustrations) and Submission Acknowledgement Form from their Management. Finalists will be required to provide a slide to be presented during the Awards Ceremony. Winners will be announced on KOGS 2026 during a dedicated time. Click HERE to start your application.
JUDGING CRITERIA
The Awards Committee has the important task of reviewing all awards submissions and rating them based on the following criteria:
- Elements (20%): Contains one or more of topics in the relevant category, level of complexity and difficulty
Impact (30%): Proven solution with quantifiable impact, magnitude of the impact (i.e., profitability, efficiency, HSE, ICV, etc.) and sustainability of impact
Novelty (20%): Level of novelty, genuineness, and authenticity of the Solution, methods, approach or project
Industrial Potential (30%): Applicability to the wider industry, scale-ability and replicability.
